Canadian Government Bars All Large Cruise Ships and Ferries From Docking Until July
According to the Vancouver Island CTV News, the Canadian Government has temporarily barred all cruise ships and ferries that carry more than 500 people, including crew, from docking in Canada until July 1st to protect against the growing COVID-19 pandemic.
The government will re-examine the ban after June 30.
This would severely impact cruise ships scheduled to call on Bar Harbor prior to July 1st, and would seem to delay the beginning of The Cat's season which was supposed to begin on June 26th
