MDI Health to Host Community Flu Shot Clinics in September and October

MDI Health will be hosting a series of Community Flu Shot Clinics on Mount Desert Island in September.

These are walk-in flu shot clinics. The cost for a flu shot is $49.50  and for the high-dose vaccine for those 65+ is $155.00. Medicare and MaineCare are accepted.

Dates and locations for the Community Flu Shot Clinics are

• Saturday, September 19 - Pemetic Elementary School Gymnasium, Southwest Harbor from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Wednesday October 14 - Malvern Belmont Estates, 80 Mount Desert Street, Bar Harbor from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• Tuesday, October 20 - Mount Desert Nursing Association, 12 Summit Road, Northeast Harbor from 1 to 3 p.m.
• Thursday October 22 - Mount Desert Nursing Association, 12 Summit Road, Northeast Harbor from 1 to 3 p.m.
• Thursday October 29 - Mill Pond Clinic, 235 Minturn Road, Swan's Island from Noon to 3:30 p.m.
