Judy Collins Brings Farewell Tour To Bar Harbor August 16

I had the privilege and honor to speak with Judy Collins this morning, as she prepares to perform at The Criterion Theatre in Bar Harbor on Sunday, August 16th at 7 p.m as part of the Sweet Judy Blue Eyes Farewell Tour.

Judy last played in Bar Harbor in 2022. She told me that her first performance was as a 3 year old in Butte Montana with her father in a program put together by President Roosevelt, during the New Deal. She sang "I'll be home for Christmas".

Collins talked about some of her hits, such as Send in the Clowns

and Both Sides Now.

She also spoke about the significance of the 2 dozen roses that are placed on stage under her piano at every concert!
