Brief Power Outage Planned for Franklin, Sorrento and Sullivan September 25th

There will be a brief power outage of approximately 5 minutes for parts of Franklin, Sorrento and Sullivan on Wednesday, September 25th starting at 9AM.

Areas affected include

Sorrento -  General Cobb Road, Hog Bay Road east of Cards Crossing, Hooper Road, South Bay Drive, Salmon Farm Road, Taunton Bay Shores Road, Whales Back Road and nearby roads in Franklin; and Route 1 west of Town Landing Road, Benvenuto Avenue, Bert Gray Road, Cedar Lane, Evergreen Point Road, Harbor View Drive, Higgs Street, Miramar Avenue, Porcupine Road, Punkinville Road, Quarry Road, Taunton Road, Whales Back Road and nearby roads in Sullivan

The brief outage is necessary so Emera Maine's line crews may safely conduct maintenance on the electrical system.
