The National Weather Service in Caribou is advising that travel will be dangerous to impossible, during the height of the storm, especially around the evening commute. With the high winds with gusts up to 45 miles per hour along the coast and 45 to 55 miles per hour in the Greater Bangor area that damage to trees is very likely and power outages are likely. Significant drifting of snow is expected.

Check back, as we will have power outage updates and details of warming shelters opening if/when applicable
