Black Ice Warning Friday November 8

The National Weather Service in Caribou is warning of the potential of black ice on our morning commute, November 8th.

They advise that any untreated roads, parking lots and sidewalks have become icy early this morning, with the freezing of any residual moisture from the rain and snow that fell last night and yesterday. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to take extra caution due to slippery conditions on untreated surfaces early this morning.

Give yourself a little extra time and distance when driving this morning. You may remember how to drive in the snow and ice, but your fellow commuter may not!
