Be the Change In Ellsworth is Back for the 3rd Year
Be the Change in Ellsworth is back for the 3rd consecutive year, looking with your help to positively impact the Ellsworth and Downeast Maine community! They will be at Friends and Family Market in Ellsworth every Saturday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. through December 10th collecting donations.
This year, 3 agencies will be the recipients of all clothing, non-perishable food items and cash donations - The Emmaus Center in downtown Ellsworth, the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and the SPCA of Hancock County.
All clothing donations will go to The Emmaus Center in Ellsworth. They are especially in need of bigger sized clothing items for men, such as 3XL and up and are in need of unopened packages of underwear.
All non-perishable donations will be given to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry who are in their new location on the Downeast Highway next to Darling's. Any non-perishables are welcomed as well as kitchen supplies and home goods.
Monetary donations will go to the SPCA in Trenton on the Bar Harbor Rd. These monetary donations will go toward surgeries needed, purchase of food, etc.
Here's a list of items that the SPCA of Hancock can and cannot use!
Be The Change in Ellsworth accept cashs, Venmo (@BeTheChange2022), and checks made out to the SPCA. The SPCA as always can use pet food too!
