Autimsm Awareness Walk Tuesday Morning in Ellsworth

This morning, Tuesday, April 20th, the Downeast Horizon's Annual Autism Awareness Walk will take place at 10 a.m. at Knowlton Park in Ellsworth.

The walk will begin and end at Knowlton Park. Walkers will head down State Street towards downtown Ellsworth and then walk up Main Street before returning to the park via School Street.

The plan is for everyone to wear masks and walk in smaller groups to maintain social distancing.

It's going to be a beautiful day for a picnic and walkers can eat a brown bag lunch at the Park if they bring one.

Last year's walk, scheduled for April 21 in Bar Harbor at Agamont Park was canceled because of COVID
