Monday morning, July 27th didn't get off to a great start for 2047 Versant Power (formerly Emera Maine) customers, as they woke up to no power in the Blue Hill, Sedgewick, Penobscot and Brooklin area.

According to the Versant Power Outage and Restoration website, power went out at 6:35 a.m. Power is expected to be restored by 10 a.m.

If you see a Versant Power line truck along the side of the road, please allow them as much room as possible as they work to safely restore power Downeast. Furthermore, if you come across a downed line, be sure to steer clear!
