As of 9:24 PM there were still 1598 Emera Maine customers still without power Thursday night, March 8th in Hancock County.

Emera Maine linecrew will continue to work throughout the night, but if you are without power as of Thursday night, you should prepare to be without power until Friday, March 9th.

Remember to never touch a downed power line or a tree in contact with a downed line. Don't drive over a downed line as it may still be energized. Motorists are urged to slow down or move over and change lanes, when possible, if approaching utility crews working on roadways.
