Ellsworth Defeats MDI 3-1 [PHOTOS]

The Ellsworth Eagles defeated the MDI Trojans in a Class A Girl's Volleyball match in Ellsworth on Monday, October 7th on Senior Night at Katsiaficas Gym. The set scores were 25-17, 21-25, 25-23, 25-17. With the victory Ellsworth improved to 9-2, while MDI fell to 6-3.

Recognized as seniors by Ellsworth were Audra Colley, Megan Hunt, Shayna Jester and Katehrine Jordan.

Ellsworth is now off until Thursday October 17th when they will travel to Bucksport to play the Golden Bucks. MDI is back in action on Wednesday, October 9th when they travel to Washington Academy at 5:30 and then host Thornton Academy on Saturday, October 12th at 1 PM.
