It's Tuesday, September 24th. Weather permitting, here's where the MDI Trojans, Ellsworth Eagles and Sumner Tigers sports teams are in action today!

Nearly 30 girls were in Katsiaficas Gymnasium on Monday, August 19th for the 1st volleyball practice of the 2019 Fall Sports Season! Check out some of the photos!

The Sumner Tigers Volleyball Team won their 1st match of the season, beating the Machias Bulldogs 3-1 on Thursday, September 6th in Sullivan. The individual game scores were 25-22, 25-23, 14-25 and 25-21.

The MDI Volleyball Team dropped their first ever regular season match against the Brewer Witches on Tuesday, September 4th at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor 3-0. The individual game scores were 25-18, 25-31 and 25-16.

The Sumner Tigers Volleyball Team fell to George Stevens Academy Tuesday afternoon, September 4th at home losing 17-25, 25-27, and 12-25.

The Ellsworth Varsity Volleyball Team beat George Stevens Academy, Thursday, August 30th in the final tune-up before the regular season begins. In the Battle of the Eagles, Ellsworth beat GSA 3-1 with the individual game scores 25-11, 25-16, 15-25 and 25-23.
