Whip Around Downeast Maine Wednesday August 11 [PHOTOS]

I was up at sunrise this morning, 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11th, expecting or rather hoping to see a gorgeous sunrise from the Downeast Tower Cams. However, it was another foggy morning. We can expect drizzle this morning with mostly cloudy skies throughout the day. The good news for everyone who likes HOT temperatures it's going to be much warmer on Thursday with temperatures in the 80's! Check out the photos from this morning

Plenty of parking available this morning on the Bar Harbor Pier as seen by the Bar Harbor Inn Tower Cam via Bar Harbor Cam

Southwest Harbor was still foggy! It was foggy most of the day yesterday and 8-10 degrees cooler than Bar Harbor. Check out the Tower Cam at Dysart's Marina via Bar Harbor Cam

There really are boats out there in Northeast Harbor, although you pretty much can't see them, via Bar Harbor Cam

And the North Tower Cam? It's working but you can't see a blessed thing with the fog! Hope everyone on Route 1A had their headlights on this morning
