Former MDI Trojan Ben Walls improved to 5-1 on the season as Husson University defeated Colby Sawyer in the 1st game of the doubleheader 5-4 on Sunday, April 17th at New London, New Hampshire. In the 2nd game, Husson lost 15-0.

Walls pitched 6 innings in game 1, allowing 4 runs, only 1 of which was earned. He gave up 8 hits, striking out 1 and walking 1. For the season, Walls has pitched 32.1 innings and has a stingy 2.51 ERA. In the NAC, Walls' ERA is just 1.71!

Husson is 15-12 overall, and 10-4 in the North Atlantic Conference. Husson has a game on Tuesday at Colby, on Thursday at Bowdoin and then a 4 game series next weekend at Castleton State. Castleton State is currently 1st in the NAC while Husson is 2nd.
