Truck Day 2017 [VIDEO]

How great is it to be a New England sport's fan on Monday, February 6th? A day after the Patriots came back from a historic defecit and beat the Atlanta Falcons in overtime in Super Bowl 51 the Boston Red Sox's truck loaded with all their Spring Training gear left Fenway Park to travel to Fort Meyers, Florida.

The Red Sox use a 53 foot truck to transport all their equipment and when you read what they bring you can imagine the truck is pretty full! Included on the truck are

• 1,100 Bats
• 200 Batting Gloves
• 200 Batting Helmets
• 320 Batting Practice Tops
• 160 White Game Jerseys
• 300 Pairs of Pants
• 400 T-Shirts
• 400 Pairs of Socks
• 20 Cases of Bubblegum
• 60 Cases of Sunflower Seeds

WDEA AM 1370 will be broadcasting an expanded Spring Training schedule of approximately 34 games. We will also have all 162 regular season games, and hopefully again this year, post-season Red Sox games! Keep your Sox on AM 1370 WDEA all season long!
