Trenton Volunteer Fire Department Reminds You to Pay Attention When Passing an Accident
The Trenton Volunteer Fire Department "lost" 3 traffic cones today, while responding to an accident at the intersection of Routes 3 and 230 this morning on Mother's Day.
Now while you may laugh or joke at the the thought of someone running over a traffic cone, the Trenton Volunteer Fire Department wants to remind you that this easily could have been a member of the Department!
Passing by an accident scene is NOT a time for rubber-necking! Pull over as far as you safely can to give the emergency responders as much room as possible to do their job. Pay attention when passing by an accident scene. It is not a time to drive fast, turn your head, or take pictures.
Everyone wants to get home in the same condition they left their families when the tones went off!
