Trailhead Cafe in Bar Harbor Closed Due to Broken Pipe
The Trailhead Cafe on Cottage Street in Bar Harbor will be closed on Monday, October 9th and into part of Tuesday, October 10th as a result of a broken pipe.
Owners Matthew and Angel Hochman were woken Monday morning by Bar Harbor Police letting them know there was water in the Cafe. After cleaning up the water, the Cafe received the approval from the Fire Chief to reopen, but they needed an electrician to check the circuit panel. Unfortunately it was determined that the circuit panel was soaked, and needs to dry out and be inspected on Tuesday before power may be restored to the restaurant.
The Hochmans are now looking for refrigeration space for food that needs to be refrigerated before they hopefully reopen on Tuesday.
