'I Do' at the 2024 Bar Harbor 4th of July Parade

The 2024 Bar Harbor 4th of July Parade was a great parade, lasting a little over an hour. But for a couple from West Palm Beach, Florida, it is the start of the rest of their life together.

Barbara "Bella" Dillon is originally from Bar Harbor, and according to her friend Denise Buzynski Swan, the 4th of July is Bella's favorite day of the year. She loves to come home to Bar Harbor and watch the parade. Well this year, Bella brought Larry Palumbo home with her.

With the help of the Mount Desert Nursing Association and Acadia Towing, they unfurled a banner where Larry asked Bella to marry him.
