The Grand on Main Street in Ellsworth is celebrating their 80th Birthday with a huge week of activities! Check out what's happening during Grand Week!

Saturday July 7th is a free event with a giant 80's Kick-off Party at Union River Harbor Park from 5PM-8PM with live music from Destroy Them My Robots, 80's Karaoke, face painting, the Darling's Ice Cream Truck and more!

Sunday July 8th there's a celebration of 42 years of the Gilbert Sullivan Society of Maine with a "Trial By Jury and Favorites" at 6PM.

Monday night July 9th The Grand is hosting a "Grand Story Slam - Sharing Stories" Past, Present and Future" at 7PM along with music, food, cake decorating contest and more.

Tuesday July 10th at 7:30 Black Panther will be shown in 3D at 7:30 PM

Wednesday July 11th at 1 PM The Wizard of Oz will be shown in 3D and then at 7PM the Summer Met Encore of "Luisa Miller"

Thursday July 12 live music returns with Chris Ross and the North at 7:30 PM

Friday July 13th at 7PM there's a live theater showcase with an evening of short plays and scenes performed by local regional theater groups

The week concludes on Saturday the 14th with Grand Education Day from Noon to 4 - an open house for all ages with free workshops and more. Then from Noon to 7 there will be a movie poster sale and finally the movie "The Goonies" will be shown at 7PM with admission just 80 cents per person!
