The Community is invited to a FREE Ice Cream Social Wednesday June 22nd from 3 to 5 p.m. The Common Good is located at 19 Clark Point Road in Southwest Harbor, in the same complex as the U.S. Post Office

The Common Good will open to the public serving their popovers and homemade oatmeal beginning on Thursday, June 23rd. They'll be open Thursday through Sunday, 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.

On the menu will be the popovers, and homemade oatmeal, along with homemade jam and flavored butter. Coffee, tea, juice is also served.

The Common Good serves by donation, but requests a minimum donation of $10/person

There is usually live music when they're open from 9:30 to 11:30 a..m.

Thanks to the community's support they have a tent set up adjacent to their storefront, so people can enjoy the food even when there's inclement weather.

The Common Good uses the proceeds from the popovers and oatmeal to feed the Community.

The Common Good delivers food to those in need on Friday, who aren't able to come pick it up. They currently deliver to about 100 households. They also operate a Food Pantry every Sunday from Noon to 1.
