State Show Choir Festival at Ellsworth High School April 6 [PHOTOS]

The State Show Choir Festival was held at Ellsworth High School on Saturday, April 6th.

Performing were the Show Choirs from Nokomis High School, the Unified Harmony Senior Show Choir (Stearns and Schenck High Schools), Caribou High School, Houlton High School, Orono High School, Mount Desert Island High School, Hermon High School, Hampden Academy and Ellsworth High School.

Nokomis High School Show Choir

The Nokomis Show Chorus performed a Medley from "Hadestown". They earned a gold medal for their performance. The Director and Choreographer was Lisa Neal. The Song List included

Unified Harmony Senior Show Choir

The Unified Harmony Show Choir was made up of students from Schenck and Stearns High School. They earned a gold medal for their performance. The Director was Matthew Waite and Choreographers were Sandy Hartley and Emma Stanley. They performed selections from Legally Blonde. The Song List included

The Caribou High School Show Choir performed songs from Barbie. They earned a gold medal for their performance. They were directed by Amy Hunter and the Choreographers were Abbigale Gauvin and Students. They received a Gold Medal for their performance. The Song List included

The MDI Show Choir performance was entitled Songo Di Volare "The Dream of Flight" The Show Choir was directed by Bronwyn Kortge and Anne Leonardi. They received a Gold Medal for their performance. Choreographers included Zoey Ray, Dorothy Durgin and Ruby DeMuro. The Song List included
