Foxcroft Academy Lady Ponies Win Class C Semifinal Game

The #3 Foxcroft Academy Lady Ponies beat the #2 GSA Lady Eagles 46-35 in a Class C Semifinal on Thursday night, February 19th.

Foxcroft jumped out to a 15-8 lead int he 1st Quarter, led by Maddie Muth's 2 3-pointers.

The Lady Ponies led 25-18. GSA was led by Taylor Grego with 7 points including a 3-pointer.

Foxcroft Academy led 35-27 at the end of the 3rd Quarter despite Halle Clifford's 3-pointer on the buzzer. The shot was reviewed by video and was ruled "good".

GSA was led by Taylor Gregor with 11 points and a 3-pointer. Auroroa Simmons had 10 points. Hallie Clifford and Emma St. Peter each had a 3-pointer. The Lady Eagles were 6-11 from the free throw line.

Foxcroft Academy was led by Nola Mason with 16 points including 2 3-pointers. Maddie Muth had 8 points with 2 3-pointers. Alli Cook had 8 points with a 3-pointer adn Kassidy Lebel had 8 points. The Lady Ponies were 5-6 from the free throw line.

Foxcroft Academy will now play int he Regional Class C Championship on Saturday, February 21st at 7 p.m. against the winner of the Mattanawcook Academy-Caribou semifinal.
