Southwest Harbor Police Department to Offer Quietside Good Morning Program for Southwest Harbor and Tremont Residents
The Southwest Harbor Police Department is in the process of offering the Quietside Good Morning Program for Southwest Harbor and Tremont residents.
Designed after the Bar Harbor-Mount Desert Police Department's Good Morning Program. This free and voluntary program is designed for senior citizens, adults with disabilities, and other vulnerable residents who live alone.
Here's How it Works
Monday through Friday, the Southwest Harbor Police Department's officers and dispatchers will make a brief morning call to registered participants to check in and ensure they’re doing well. If they're unable to reach someone, they'll take additional steps to verify their safety.
How to Sign Up:
Call the Southwest Harbor Police Department at 244-7911 to provide your information or request a form to fill out. They are happy to help get you registered.
