Shriners Pre-Screening Clinics Saturday May 12

The Shrine Circus was in Bangor this past weekend, playing to sold out crowds at the Cross Insurance Center. There were clowns, and lots of happy kids. The Anah Temple Shrine brings the circus to Bangor so it can raise money to help support their hospitals, in Springfield and Boston Massachusetts.

The Springfield Hospital offers orthopedic care including treating clubfoot, Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease, Bone Infections, Chest Wall Deformities, Cleft Lip and Palate, Spina Bifida (Related Orthopedic Conditions), Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scoliosis and other spinal deformities, Hand and Shoulder Deformities, Brittle Bone Disease, Cerebral Palsy (Related Orthopedic Conditions) and Hip Disorders.

The Boston Hospital specializes in Burn and Orthopaedic care including Hemangiomas, Burn Ijuries, Cleft Lip and Palate Port Wine Stains, Scarring and Deformities of the Face, Specialized Wound Care and Skin Disorders, Reconstructive and Laser Plastic Surgery and Sever Scarring resulting in contractures or interfering with the mobility of a limb.

The Shriners are offering Pre-Screening Clinics on Saturday, May 12 from 9 to 12 Noon at 7 locations.  There is NO CHARGE to attend a Pre-Screening Clinic and NO APPOINTMENT is necessary!  These include
