From Ellsworth Football Coach Duane Crawford:
"Well that’s why they call them exhibition games. Final score 28-14 WA. We were down 28-0 at half and played through the 3rd quarter with our ones. We did create 5 turnovers, on defense, and were able to shut them down in the second half; but offensively we struggled to move the ball which is really just a matter of execution and can be corrected. Our twos came out, in the 4th quarter and played very scoring both TD’s. A real bright spot on the evening. A lot to work on both sides of the ball for this week. Offensively we need to execute; and that is a matter of more reps in practice and going 100% all the time.
Some bright spots offensively and defensively and some things that we can build on for our season opener."
