If you're going to make a huge public spectacle of yourself when you ask for your girlfriend's hand, better be pretty certain she's up for it! At a New Britain Rock Cats minor league game in Connecticut, hopeless romantic David Lothario was thrown a huge curve ball after asking his girlfriend Jessica to marry him in the middle of the field. The couple was on the field answering trivia questions when the announcer passed the microphone to David and explained David had a question he wanted to ask Jessica himself. David then asked, "Will you marry me Jessica?" Stepping back with her hands over her mouth, Jessica stammered: "David, I'm sorry, I can't." Both then ran off the field, both humiliated, for very different reasons.
