Power Outage From Storm 1-24
The Nor'Easter bearing down on Maine is causing problems for Emera Maine customers with 1579 customers without power as of 11:37 AM on Tuesday January 24th. Of that total, more than 1500 were in Hancock County.
According to Emera Maine, communities with outages include Bar Harbor, Bernard, Blue Hill, Brooklin, Centerville, Columbia Falls, Franklin, Lubec, Milbridge, Salsbury Cove, Sargentville, Seal Harbor, Sedgwick, Sorrento, and Steuben.

The chance of increased outages is very good, as the forecast calls for sleet which is supposed to accumulate between a half inch to an inch. Winds will be out of the Northeast 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts between 45 and 50 miles per hour.
