Janna Richards, the Economic Development Director for the City of Ellsworth joined WDEA's Chris Popper to talk more about the City's plans for the Franklin Street Extension. It was announced that the road between Main Street and City Hall Plaza would be closed to vehicular traffic.

The plan is for a beautiful outdoor dining experience, with 10 handcrafted picnic tables by Public Works, including 2 ADA wheelchair accessible tables. They will have umbrellas with strips of LED lights for lighting at night.  And there will be WIFI extension boosters so you can access the free WIFI while dining, along with hand sanitizing stations.

With Ellsworth's Cupola Cam, you'll be able to see who's dining out there and have a look at the beautiful area.

Public Works will be collecting trash and returnables twice daily.
