Orland Man, Cherryfield Woman Arrested for Child Porn

An Orland man and a Cherryfield woman are accused of the alleged possession and distribution of child pornography.

63-year-old Robert Rosenbaum of Orland was arrested on Monday, while 47-year-old Stacy Turcotte of Cherryfield was arrested the next day. According to the Ellsworth American, Rosenbaum is accused of sending child porn to someone he was chatting with online. Officials don't believe any of the images were of Maine children. There's no word yet about Turcotte's role in the incident.

Rosenbaum is charged with one count each of dissemination and possession of sexually explicit material of children under age 12. Turcotte is charged with two counts each of dissemination and possession of sexually explicit material of children under age 12. Both people are charged with criminal forfeiture of property, which refers to the seizure of their computers.

Rosenbaum's bail was set at $1,500 cash, with the conditions that he not have any contact with any victims and not use or possess any devices capable of connecting to the internet. Turcotte was still in the Hancock County Jail, as of Wednesday morning, awaiting her bail hearing.
