Officer Amie Torrey Leaving Ellsworth PD Joining Bar Harbor PD

Ellsworth's loss is definitely Bar Harbor's gain, as Officer Amie Torrey is leaving the Ellsworth Police Department, to work in Bar Harbor, working patrol overnight, beginning May 30, 2021.

Torrey began her career with the Ellsworth Police Department on August 10, 2008 and served as the School Resource Officer for 3 years 2018-20 having a tremendous influence on the lives of Ellsworth's students.

She joins the Bar Harbor Police Department, a force that her grandfather, Robert Carr retired from.

Thank you for your service to the City of Ellsworth and we are sure the citizens of Bar Harbor and Mount Desert will appreciate your efforts working for the Bar Harbor Police Department.
