October 1st – National Black Dog Day

October 1st is National Black Dog Day! It's a day that we celebrate, having 3 black Great Danes!

Unfortunately, many people are scared of, or don't want black dogs. Black dogs are generally the last ones chosen in the shelter. I'm proud to say that Elmer and Pebbles are rescue dogs, and part of our family.

There's nothing like a black dogs fur in the summer. The sun makes it toasty warm.

National Black Dog Day was first celebrated on October 1, 2011.
