SPCA of Hancock County’s Needs – April 2024

The SPCA of Hancock County, located in Trenton, has been working hard to clean out the shelter to make space for more animals and high-needs items.

Below is an updated list of items that They Need and those that They Don't Need at this time. White they appreciate all items and those who support the Shelter, they're hoping that you just donate the needed items.

Needed Items

• Bathroom Floor Mats
• Unscented Bleach
• Free and Clear Laundry Detergent
• Kitten and Cate Wet and Dry Food.
• Pine Pellets
• Trash Bags
• Catnip and Cat Toys

Items They Don't Currently Need

• Sheets, pillowcases, comforters
• Collars/leashes
• Soft/Rubber Dog Toys
• Puppy and Adult Dog Dry Food
• Crates
• Hand towels, washcloths, towels
• Carriers or kennels.

If you are in Downeast Maine  and have some of the items they don't currently need, you might consider checking in with The Ark Animal Shelter in Cherryfield,  The Bucksport Animal Shelter, or Coastal Dreams Rescue & Sanctuary in Bucksport.
