One of the things I'm most proud of is that for 18 years our stations have held the Ton of Pasta event during the winter months. What started off as a hope that we might collect 2000 pounds of pasta, combined, has exceeded out original expectations, all thanks to our great community of listeners. We typically collect over 3 ton, 6000 pounds every year, and despite the freezing temperatures, we can't help smiling and our hearts are warmed knowing that thanks to you, we are making sure that our friends and neighbors have food.

A box of pasta which used to be anywhere from 25 to 50 cents 18 years ago now costs around a dollar. But, a pound of pasta still will feed a family of 4

Some people will only eat one kind of pasta. I know my grown children still prefer penne over spaghetti. So here's your chance to Pick Your Pasta!

And if you're old enough, you'll remember that Wednesday was Prince Spaghetti Day in Boston!
