MMA Ship Jump 2017 [VIDEO]

One of the best traditions for incoming freshman has to be the Maine Maritime Academy Ship Jump. Sunday morning, August 27th the Class of 2017 participated, led by President Dr. William Brennan, and how cool is that, the President of the College leads the incoming class in the jump?!

Normally the freshman jump from the Training Ship State of Maine, but this year they jumped from the dock.

Participating from local high schools were Maine Maritime Academy Class of 2021 members Sammy Mason, Colby Clarke, Xan Rush, Hutchin Gerrish, Chris Farnsworth, Jordyn Merritt, Lucas Brann, Hayden Satler, Matt Harris, Sarah Gilmore, Caleb Tribou, Calvin Simmons,Jesse Sweeny, Dylan Bunker, Garrett Ireland, Drew Malefant and Nicholas Racioppi.
