In tonight's State of the Union Address, President Obama is going to announce that he will use an executive order, therefore bypassing Congress, to raise the minimum wage for new federal contract workers to $10.10 per hour. The President will also call on Congress to pass the Harkin-Miller Bill that would increase the federal minimum wage to $10.10 from it's current $7.25 per hour. The last time the minimum wage was increased was July 24, 2009.

So it's a good time to ask
