The Memorial Day Observance activities in the Town of Hancock will begin at 9:30 a.m. when the parade will step off from the Hancock Women's Club Park lot.

The parade is expected to include the Hancock Grammar School Band, members and vehicles of the Hancock Volunteer Fire Department as well as other community groups.

The parade will head to the Memorial Lot where the Observance Ceremony will take place. There will be a Posting of the Colors by the Fire Department's Honor Guard, musical selections by the Gramma School Band, and remarks by Hancock native and Secretary of State, Shenna Bellows.

The Union Congregational Church of Hancock will host Breakfast on the Green at the Hancock Village Memorial Lot beginning at 9 a.m. The Lot is located in the intersection of the Point Road and US Route 1 in Hancock. Breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, muffins, fruit, coffee, water and juice boxes will be available for purchase at 9 a.m. prior to the start of the Observance.
