Meet MDI’s Matt Umphrey [VIDEO]

As part of the continuing series Meet the MDI Teacher, WDEA's Chris Popper sat down with Matt Umphrey, who is a Physical Education/Health/Adaptive PE and Wellness teacher at Mount Desert Island High School. Umphrey has been at MDI for 10 years, is married to Rachel Umphrey who teaches Math at the school, and they have two young boys. Matt is a Caribou native, went to UMPI and taught at Sumner Memorial High School before coming to MDI. Meet Matt Umphrey!
