MDI Trojans Beat Belfast 8-4 in Exhibition Game [PHOTOS]

The MDI Trojans beat the Belfast Lions 8-4 in an exhibition game on Saturday afternoon, April 9th in Bar Harbor .

Quentin Pilieggi started the game for MDI and went 4 innings. He didn't allow a hit and struck out 4.

Noah Keeley pitched the final 3 innings, allowing 4 hits and 4 runs. he struck out 7 and walked 3.

MDI scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st and 2nd and then plated 4 runs in the bottom of the 3rd to take a 8-0 lead. Belfast battled back, scoring their runs in the top of the 5th inning.

AJ Lozano, Quentin Pileggi, Aiden Grant, Jay Haney, Logan Blanchette and Joey Wellman-Clouse all had a hit for MDI. The Trojans stole 6 bases with Lozano swiping 2 bases and Brendan Graves, Jacob Shields, Grant and Haney all stealing 1 base.

For Belfast Zepherin Leppannen, KJ Payson, and Bobby Banks had a single, while Michael Ham doubled.

MDI will host Searsport in an exhibition game on Monday, April 11th at 4 p.m.
