MDI Tennis Nips Ellsworth 3-2

The MDI Girls and Boys Tennis Teams nipped Ellsworth 3-2 on Monday, May 23rd at MDI High School in Bar Harbor. It was Senior Recognition Day for the Trojans.  Here are the results

• 1st Singles MDI Linda Bolten defeated Bailey Clarke 8-0
• 2nd Singles MDI Leila Weir defeated Megan Jordan 8-2
• 3rd Singles MDI Taber Allen defeated Briana Kane 9-7
• 1st Doubles EHS Grace Gumpp and Abby Bland defeated Hannah St. Aamand and Addy Smith 8-5
• 2nd Doubles EHS Kahlan Keene and Miah Coffin defeated Meredith Cook and Grace Lemoine 8-4

Boys

• 1st Singles MDI Westy Granholm defeated Koa Barrett 8-0
• 2nd Singles MDI Max Friedlander defeated Tate Carter 8-0
• 3rd Singles EHS Kai Barrett defeated Evan Ankrom 8-6
