Ellsworth-MDI Split Tennis Matches

The Ellsworth and MDI Tennis Teams split matches at Ellsworth High School on Friday, May 12th, with the MDI Boys winning 5-0 and the Ellsworth Girls winning 5-0.

• #1 Singles - Westy Granholm beat Kai Barrett 8-2
• #2 Singles -  Max Friedlander beat Koa Barrett 8-2
• #3 Singles - Treyan Nelson beat  Owen Frank 8-4
• #1 Doubles - Evan Ankrom/Jameson Weir beat Luke Perry/Pablo Little-Seibold 8-0
• #2 Doubles - Owen Kelly/Bowdoin Allen beat Sam Kaplan/Silas Montigny 8-2

The Trojan Boys are now 7-1 on the season

Girls

• #1 Singles -Taber Allen lost to Megan Jordan 3-8
• #2 Singles - Grace LeMoine lost to Brianna Kane 1-8
• #3 Singles - Meredith Cook lost to Miah Coffin 3-8
• #1 Doubles - Molly Webster/Aya Negishi lost to Emily Gagnon/Kahlan Keene 1-8
• #2 Doubles - Mai Ishimura/Julia Ramos lost to Elizabeth Frost/Whitney Clark 6-8.

The Trojan Girls are now 2-6 on the season. Both Trojan teams travel to play the Brewer Witches on Monday , May 15 at 3:30. p.m.

The Ellsworth Teams are back in action on Monday, May 15th, hosting Bangor at 3:30 p.m.
