MDI-Orono Football Friday, September 17 [LISTEN LIVE]

The MDI Trojans will travel to Orono to take on the Orono Red Riots in 8-man football, Friday, September 17th. Originally scheduled to take place at Orono High School, the game has been moved to Morse Field, at Alfond Stadium on the Campus of the University of Maine. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

Orono has had extensive work done to their athletic fields, and the bleachers and press box are still being installed and electrical work needs to be done. It will be a beautiful complex when completed.

MDI's game with Morse, originally scheduled for last Friday, September 10th, was moved to Saturday because of the rain and poor field conditions. That game was subsequently cancelled because of COVID concerns. MDI is 0-1 having lost to Houlton on 48-42 in Bar Harbor on September 3rd.

Orono is 0-2. They lost to Camden Hills 52-6 on September 4th and 46-0 to Houlton on September 9th.
