The MDI Trojans defeated the Nokomis Warriors on Friday night October 20th and earned the #1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. MDI Head Coach Mark Shields joined WDEA's Chris Popper to talk about the game, the big plays and how the Trojans defeated the Warriors. Coach Shields also previewed the playoff game with John Bapst on Friday, October 27th

Coach Shields told us who they awarded the game ball to, and how the weather and the potential for 3 inches of rain could impact the practice schedule.
