MDI Boy’s Tennis Beats Washington Academy, Girls Lose [PHOTOS]

The MDI Boys Tennis Team defeated Washington Academy 5-0 while the Girls lost to the Red Raiders 3-2, when the Trojans hosted W.A. on Monday, May 2nd in Bar Harbor. Here are the individual results and photos from the match courtesy of Walter Churchill.

Boys

• 1st Singles  -Westy Granholm won 8-0
• 2nd Singles - Max Friedlander won 8-0
• 3rd Singles - Evan Ankrom won 8-5
• 1st Doubles - Jack Hodgdon and Jameson Weir won 8-0
• 2nd Doubles - Bowdoin Allen and Owen Kelly won 8-0

Girls

• 1st Singles - Lelia Weir won 8-2
• 2nd Singles - Taber Allen lost 3-8
• 3rd Singles - Addy Smith lost 5-8
• 1st Doubles - Hannah St Amand and Meredith Cook won 8-4,
• 2nd Doubles - Grace Lemoine and Eliza Levin lost 3-8.

The MDI Tennis Teams are back in action on Thursday, May 5th when they host Bangor.
