May 20 – National Rescue Dog Day

Today, May 20th is National Rescue Dog Day! Rescue dogs are the best! I have a magnet on the back of my car in the shape of a dog paw and it says "Who Rescued Who?"

We have been blessed to have had 5 shelter dogs as part of our family! Katie was adopted from the Bangor Humane Society, Henley, who was adopted from the SPCA of Hancock County and Bob who came from Star Bright Animal Rescue. Elmer and Pebbles, our Great Danes, are both rescues, having been rehomed from their original owners
