Look for Beacon in the Bar Harbor Parade

There have been quite a few spirited discussions in Bar Harbor over the last year. There's been talk about parking, cruise ships and whether Beacon, Chief Bartlett's dog can ride in the parade!

If you recall, last year, Chief Bartlett decided that he couldn't, and well Beacon, being the ham, posed in the truck.

Here Beacon looks all excited that he might be able to ride in the parade

But here the Chief has just explained that Beacon will NOT be riding in the parade

And here, Beacon is showing a little sass, and letting the Chief know what he thinks about his decision!

There were even signs along the parade route last year asking where Beacon was and the hashtag #letbeaconride even appeared on facebook! Beacon, and the Chief, even appeared on Channel 5 last year. Luckily 2019 seems to be Beacon's year and he'll be riding in the parade!
