Sometimes animals are just so special, they really deserve to be your one and only. In this way, Uno, is a perfect fit for a one-on-one situation, right down to his name.

A mature mouser (he's 6 going on 7, so a refined cat about town) with a whole lot of himself to offer (he's 15 pounds, so not a lightweight, scrappy cat, rather an attractive mixture of tall tabby and sultry Siamese) Uno is the feline equivalent of tall, dark, and handsome.

Uno makes no qualms about letting you know exactly what he wants when he wants it. While some may misinterpret this direct nature as Uno being mean or aloof, he is just a male who is direct with his wants and needs and gets a little cranky when those aren't met.

Show me a man out there who can't relate.

The folks at the SPCA of Hancock County say if you're looking for someone to be a "work-at-home friend or mutual support partner" Uno would ideal company for you.

"Uno is an extremely sensitive cat. Some people mistake this as aggression or as being a mean cat, but he’s shown to us that when we use positive reinforcement and give him the resources he needs, he is a loving kitty who adores butting his head against his friends and has a loud purr. However, he needs humans who are adept at reading a cat’s body language and who can understand the emotional needs of a cat and how behavioral concerns are often a sign of a need not being met."
