Lamoine Lions Softball Team Take the Field

Back on March 22nd we told you how the Lamoine Lions were set to roar this Spring, as they were going to have their own softball  team for the 1st time in years, rather than a cooperative team with Hancock Elementary School. On Monday, April 30th they played their first game against Connors Emerson!

Only in a fairy tale would they have won their first game. They ended up losing 20-0, but in my opinion they're all winners for getting out and representing their school and their community! I was told they all had huge smiles after the game and learned a lot!
