Kindness Rock Project Appears in Bar Harbor [POLL]
This little rock "Shoot for the Stars" appeared in Agamont Park in Bar Harbor the other day, as part of the nationwide campaign, "The Kindness Rocks Project".
The goals of The Kindness Project are pretty simple
- Inspire others through randomly placed rocks along the way.
- Recruit every person who stumbles upon it to join in the pursuit of inspiring others through random acts of kindness.
But in the discussion on Facebook, some were adamantly opposed to this, with a comment of "Frankly I continue to be baffled by humankind's need to leave their mark (and stuff) anywhere and everywhere." while others were hoping to get a project going with encouraging words.
Let's acknowledge that these rocks shouldn't be left in Acadia National Park, because we all should subscribe to the belief that we should leave no trace behind in the Park. But how do you feel about it? Take the poll and let us know
