The Boston Red Sox have hired Carl Willis, the Triple A pitching coach for the Cleveland Indians as their next pitching coach, to take the place of Juan Nieves who they fired on Thursday, and Willis is going to have his hands full! With the way this starting pitching staff is going, not only are they going to need a new pitching coach, but they'll be in need of a psychologist too!

Today it was Joe Kelly's turn to implode. He walked 7 Blue Jays, gave up 6 runs, all earned and 4 hits while striking out 3 in 5.2 innings. He also had a wild pitch and committed 2 errors.

Mookie Betts was 2-4 with a double, while Hanley Ramirez, making his first start in the field since injuring his shoulder at Fenway was 0-4.

Boston is now 13-17 and in last place in the AL East. The Red Sox take on Toronto Sunday afternoon in the final game of the series. Clay Buchholz 1-4 with a 6.03 ERA will take the mound for the Red Sox. His last win was opening day. The pregame starts at 12:20 with the first pitch at 1:07 PM on AM 1370 WDEA.
