Johnny Gomes Gets It! Boston Strong!

There's little doubt that Johnny Gomes, one of the newest Red Sox gets it! He was one of the players that suggested that the Red Sox hang the jersey with the number 617 on it's back during the dugout when the Red Sox were in Cleveland immediately after the Boston Marathon terrorist attack.

Then today, Sunday April 21st, Will Middlebrooks tweeted the picture of Johnny Gomes' bat that he's going to use during today's doubleheader. You can see it here

The bat has the name of all four of the individuals that lost their lives as a result of the terrorists! Gomes is going to auction the bat off after the game.

Compare this year's team, to last year's team that couldn't be bothered to attend John Peskey's funeral. I vote for this year's team!
